Packers Will See Plenty Of Prime Time

Since the franchise's renaissance in the 1990s, the Green Bay Packers have been no strangers to prime time, and that trend is continuing in 2010.

The Packers found out on Tuesday with the league-wide release of the 2010 schedule that they're slated to play four night games this coming season, including three in the first nine weeks and a fourth subject to the NFL's flexible scheduling.

Games featured in prime time will be at Chicago in Week 3 on Monday Night Football, at home against Minnesota in Week 7 and Dallas in Week 9 on Sunday night, and at New England in Week 15 on Sunday night (subject to flex).

"It is a privilege to play prime-time football," Head Coach Mike McCarthy said. "I think it's a reflection of how we're looked upon as an organization by the National Football League and the networks. It's always exciting to play in those big games, and more importantly, it's great to be able to share it with our fans across the world."
